Job Description
Leidos is seeking a Principal Program Financial Analyst in West Logan, WV, to support the Army Global Unified Network program. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance reporting. The role requires a bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and prior defense contracting experience. Knowledge of financial systems and contract types is preferred. US citizenship and security clearance eligibility are required.
Leidos' Defense/Intel IT Business Area within the Digital Modernization Sector has an immediate opening for a Program Financial Analyst, Principal to support the AGUN (Army Global Unified Network) program.
As a Financial Analyst on the Program Team, you will work directly with the program manager to help define the program's financial goals and objectives; create and maintain a program's budget, analyze progress reported against the program baseline; identify risks and opportunities against the program baseline; and recommend actions to improve progress to achieve flawless program execution.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of all contract cost and financial data
• Project start-up and maintenance - ensure project setup process is executed correctly
• Ownership of monthly closing process, validating awards/bookings, backlog, Revenue & EBITDA for the program
• Variance analysis and reporting of actual program financial performance against Annual Plan and Quarterly Forecast
• Responsible and accountable for program financial forecast including development and overall management of program EAC(s)
• Accountable for program billing (in coordination with Leidos Billing Team), cash collection, analysis and clearing of unbilled receivables
• Support Subcontractor Funding Efforts and Cash Flow Management
• Support EVM Cost/Baseline Management and coordinate reviews with CAMs
• Analyzing contract actuals for accuracy, identifies errors, ensures errors are corrected timely
• Creating and presenting monthly internal and external customer reports
• Responsible for program financial customer deliverables (CDRLs)
• Supporting any ad hoc requests by internal management and external customers
• Ability to work independently, or in a team environment and with various organizational levels
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience in program financial control, which should include budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of contract cost and financial data
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Good communication skills both verbally and written to clearly provide detailed analysis.
• Prior defense contracting industry experience is required.
• Advanced knowledge of multiple contract types (FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrid contracts), terms and conditions and billing/reporting requirements.
• US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Leidos financial systems such as: CostPoint, Cognos, Fusion, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Insight.
• Hands-On Experience with Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) Programs
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) Original Posting: May 22, 2025

Pay Range: Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
