Franklin Whole Home seeks a Marketing Manager for its Energy Solutions division in Australia. This role involves managing marketing initiatives at local, regional, and national levels, requiring collaboration with partners and travel approximately 25% of the time. Responsibilities include developing marketing strategies, managing campaigns, conducting market research, overseeing brand management, and establishing industry partnerships. The position is onsite in Sydney, focusing on growth within the energy home storage industry.

Headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, FranklinWH's team has decades of experience in energy systems, from design, through manufacturing, to sales and installation.
Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team in Australia. This role manages the marketing initiatives on local, regional, and national levels throughout Australia and partners closely with various partners and organizations to create opportunities for FranklinWH to reach its target audiences. Traveling will be required approximately 25% of the time to facilitate the success of these marketing initiatives.

Operating from a mindset of organized reliability, collaboration, and creativity are crucial for success in this role. Assertive and confident relationship building, sales, marketing, and negotiation techniques are a must.

This position requires the candidate to work onsite at our office in Sydney, Australia, where they will be expected to collaborate with the team, attend meetings, and perform duties in a professional office environment.
Responsibilities
• Marketing Strategy: Participate in the development of the annual AUS brand & marketing plan and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with company objectives and drive brand recognition, customer engagement, and sales growth in the Australian market.
• Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.
• Brand Management: Oversee brand consistency across all marketing and communications. Work closely with the global marketing team to ensure brand messaging aligns with the company's overall vision and mission.
• Partnerships & Events: Identify and establish partnerships with industry stakeholders, trade associations, and influencers. Plan and execute participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to increase brand visibility.
• Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget for the Australian market, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
• Proven startup experience: We're building systems to scale, so we need someone who thrives in resource-constrained environments, focusing on high-impact work. The ideal candidate has navigated a startup's growth from early-stage to scale.
• Enterprise sales support for technical products: Our product can have a long sales cycle and involves multiple decision-makers. Success requires experience in selling high-value, technical solutions, especially with home energy management, energy storage, solar, and similar technologies.
• Ability to pivot between strategy, operations, and execution: The role demands someone who can manage relationships at all levels-upward, outward, and downward. You'll need to navigate various business tools and approach tasks with a blend of creativity and practicality. You'll be responsible for not only creating the plan but also securing the resources and executing it effectively.
Qualifications And Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the renewable energy, technology, or B2B sectors.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Strong understanding of the Australian market, including customer behavior, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and presentations.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for clean energy and sustainability is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 25%, some nights and weekends may be required.
