Job Description

Code Four is seeking a Jr. Environmental Designer in Huntington Beach, CA. The role involves assisting in the design process, producing immersive brand experiences, and collaborating with a team to create concepts and renderings. Candidates should have a relevant Bachelor's degree and skills in Sketch-up, AutoCad, and Adobe Creative Cloud. A passion for aesthetic and experience design is essential, along with a compelling portfolio.

Youll get to participate in the process of developing, designing and preparing concepts that lead to brand-based solutions. Working in tandem with other designers and across other disciplines, youll create ideas and drawings that communicate the rationale behind these concepts through your knowledge of space planning, fixture design and fabrication. As a Jr. Environmental Designer, you will:
• Assist with the design process from concept through implementation
• Produce immersive brand experiences through interactive content design
• Work alongside other 3D Artists, Project Managers and the fabrication department to come up with the best strategy to approach a new build
• Bring beautiful renderings to life from conversations, napkin sketches and measurements

We are a lean team moving at full speed, so we need someone who can match our pace and bring the following:

Experience
• Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Environmental Design or equivalent level knowledge gained through education and/or work experience

Skills
• Sketch-up and/or AutoCad skills and experience are strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of scale is required
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred
• Unreal Engine knowledge/experience preferred
• Understanding of fabrication industry, materials
• Keen eye for composition, color & layout
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Professionalism in collaborating with team members across multiple disciplines

Other
• Enthusiasm and passion for aesthetic and experience design
