Head Safety & Sustainability, MAS

Vedanta Group is seeking a Head of Safety & Sustainability in Mumbai. The role involves enhancing safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency across the organization. Candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech/MBA with 10+ years of relevant experience, particularly in mining and manufacturing. Responsibilities include overseeing partner performance, implementing data-driven strategies, and collaborating with leadership on sustainability initiatives. Roles and Responsibilities :
• Key focus on strengthening Safety, Sustainability, Asset Optimization and Quality Assessments across group.
• Oversee and monitor partner performance, implementing data-driven strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Work closely with internal teams and engage with external consultants to drive strategic projects
• Providing insights through industry research, benchmarking and enhance digital processes
• Collaborate with BU leadership and HSE teams to implement corrective actions and cultural transformation initiatives.
• Support the integration of sustainability parameters (e.g., carbon footprint, energy audits, emission targets) into audit protocols

Eligibility :
• 60% throughout in 10th, 12th, Graduation, and post-Graduation without any backlogs at the time of selection and joining
• No other gap in regular course of studies is allowed except for 1 year gap between 12th and Graduation or Graduation and Post Graduation
• B.E./B. Tech/MBA candidate with 10+ years of experience in Safety & sustainability audits previews. Candidates with added experience of working at plant locations (preferably in mining & manufacturing industry) would be preferred
• Dynamic leaders with a strong knack in Digital, AI & Technology, Data Analytics and Benchmarking.
