Facilities UPW & Waste Water Engineer

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Facilities Ultra Pure Water & Waste Water Engineer in Singapore. The role involves overseeing and maintaining UPW and wastewater treatment systems, troubleshooting issues, executing maintenance programs, and implementing water-saving projects. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related fields, strong teamwork skills, and familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing. This is a full-time position with a salary of SGD 4.5K–SGD 6.5K per month.

JOB SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

·The Facilities Ultra Pure Water & Waste Water (UPW/WW) Engineer provides engineering support to oversee, plan and ensure proper operations of the Ultra Pure Water (UPW), Industrial Waste Water Plant (IWT), Fluoride Wastewater Treatment Plant (FWTP) and other water treatment systems.

·He/She is expected to troubleshoot and respond to issues and interruptions of the systems.

He/She will plan and execute Preventive and Corrective Maintenance programs for UPW, IWT, FWTP and other water treatment systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.

Identify water saving projects to achieve company’s sustainability goal

Handle and execute UPW, IWT, FWTP and other water treatment systems engineering projects including upgrades, retrofits and expansion.

Identify and execute water recycling projects to reduce overall water consumption.

Identify and implement new developments for UPW and waste water systems to achieve technology breakthrough.

Capacity tracking and planning on UPW, IWT, FWTP and other water treatment related systems.

Identify and execute cost reduction programs for UPW and waste water systems

Performs all works in accordance with company safety guidelines.

Good communication and collaboration within Facilities Sections and with all customers throughout the organization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.

Experience, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Excellent teamwork and collaboration with other Facilities Sections

Fluent computer skills including word processing excel spreadsheet etc.

Able to work on multiple tasks concurrently.

Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing and facility systems.
