About the Role:

Skyline Recruitment is seeking an Environmental Project Manager – Hazardous Materials on behalf of a well-established environmental consulting firm for their Ontario offices (Ottawa & Mississauga). This role is ideal for an experienced environmental consultant who enjoys a mix of field and project leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Perform occasional fieldwork and manage hazardous materials projects.

✅ Oversee project management, ensuring deliverables stay on schedule and within budget.

✅ Prepare and manage proposals, bids, and tenders.

✅ Mentor and develop junior staff.

✅ Draft and review technical reports to ensure compliance with regulations.

✅ Build and strengthen client relationships—preference for candidates with an existing client network.

Qualifications & Experience:

✔️ 5+ years of experience in Environmental Consulting & Hazardous Materials (Designated Substances).

✔️ Strong Project Management background within the industry.

✔️ Hands-on experience with budgeting, proposals, and scheduling.

✔️ Expertise in hazardous materials assessments & regulatory compliance.

✔️ Proven ability to mentor junior staff.

✔️ Excellent technical report writing skills.

✔️ Bonus: Candidates with an established client base will be prioritized.
