About the position

The Electric Vehicle & R&D Technician position in Princeton, TX, is a full-time role that involves a variety of responsibilities centered around the fabrication and testing of vehicle components. The technician will work closely with the engineering team to fabricate physical parts based on their designs and assemble these parts onto electric vehicles. This role requires a hands-on approach, as the technician will also be responsible for testing these components and reporting the results back to the engineering team to ensure quality and functionality. In addition to fabrication and testing, the technician will be tasked with delivering Boson vehicles to various customers and traveling to customer sites to address any issues that may arise with the vehicles. This may include assisting with solar installations and troubleshooting problems on-site. The technician will also help transport materials between different company locations as needed. Flexibility is key, as the technician may be required to take on additional tasks and occasionally attend meetings or work outside of regular business hours. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a collaborative environment and are comfortable with hands-on tasks. Responsibilities
• Fabricating physical parts based on designs from the engineering team.

Requirements
• Ability to work with common tools found on a shop floor.

• Capability to drive a pickup truck and tow a trailer.

• Prior experience doing hands-on work on automobiles.

• Capacity to adapt to changing circumstances and handle multiple tasks.

• Efficient time management skills to meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves
• Basic knowledge and skill of welding and soldering.
