Our Opportunity Summary: Micron is looking for a senior procurement leader to lead our Energy and Water Procurement Globally. You will set strategy and collaborate with other senior leaders across the organization to drive for best-in-class outcomes. You will be the subject matter expert in utility pricing and billing for regulated and non-regulated markets; understand energy markets, energy generation and legal and regulatory aspects of energy and water Procurement. You will build positive relationships with retailers, developers and other partners across the utility portfolio. You will participate and provide procurement support in Global sustainability project and initiatives. What's Encouraged Daily: + Development and execution of a comprehensive energy and utilities procurement strategy for Micron globally + Analyze trends and regulations in the energy and water space to ensure consistent and quality supply to our sites globally + Review energy and water markets to identify cost savings opportunities + Manage projects against plans and objectives to ensure commitments are met, delivering against cost savings goals + Evaluate new markets, tariffs, policies, power contracts, or new sourcing opportunities and technologies + Negotiation of power/water/fuel contracts + Builds and publishes regular reports on assigned portfolio to executives + Hiring and leading a team both directly and matrixed around the globe + Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs How To Qualify: + Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) required in Finance/Economics/Engineering/Business + 8+ years of experience in energy markets, energy trading, power contract negotiations, energy regulations, renewable development, or energy generation technologies + Solid experience with hedging or other financial instruments used in the energy sectors + The ability to handle and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects and recommend strategic outcomes + Outstanding speaking-listening-writing skills and attention to details + Strong modelling and data analysis skills + Consistent track record for encouraging positive relationships with internal sta To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
