Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Director to lead our construction department in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of construction project managers, quality professionals, and commissioning specialists to ensure the successful execution of our battery manufacturing plants in the US.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
• Participate in engineering and constructability feedback in design reviews of capital projects.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, project management skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is required, with advanced degrees or certifications preferred. The candidate should also have at least 9+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale industrial projects.
