Job Description

TransGrid is seeking a part-time Workplace Services Coordinator based in Yass, NSW. The role includes reception and administrative support, managing mail and deliveries, overseeing security systems, and providing high-quality customer service. Candidates should have 1-2 years of administrative experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The position offers flexibility with hours and days worked, requiring a minimum of 15 hours per week.
Part Time position – 3-4 days a week

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Workplace Services Coordinator (Reception & Administration Assistant) to join Transgrid in our Yass office.

In your new role you will provide support delivering reception & admin services to Transgrid teams both on site and at other sites. The role encompasses managing the reception area, phone calls, and general office administrative support. Responsibilities include handling the distribution of mail and deliveries for both internal and external parties, such as couriers and collections.

Additionally, the position involves overseeing the security key and card system, ensuring their issuance and maintenance. Providing high-quality administrative services is the core aspect of this role. This role offers a balanced level of independence and autonomy demanding a strong sense of ownership for the site.

This role is ideal for someone looking for part time work coupled with 1-2 years administration experience in a highly autonomous role. We are offering flexibility on which days you work and how many hours. All we ask for is 15 hours minimum per week (maximum 30).

About you:
• Higher School Certificate or equivalent
• Current NSW Drivers Licence
• Sound Administration and Receptionist experience
• Thorough knowledge at a general user level of Microsoft Office and Computer Systems
• Ability and willingness to develop and learn corporate systems and new skills as required for the role
• Customer Service skills with an ability to prioritise work
• Ability to operate typical office machines such as printers, photocopiers and binding machines.

We are looking for someone with good communication skills, a people person able to liaise, on a daily basis, with Managers, Senior Officers and staff internally and externally to receive and pass on written information ensuring administration and site reception services are delivered with the customer front of mind.
