**Your Scope**

Reporting to the Director of Technical Training, the Training Specialist oversees and supports power generation-based training programs in the region.

**What You'll Do**

The Regional Training Specialist works closely with assigned facilities operations and maintenance management personnel to own and lead training and competency assurance through direct field training, qualification support, and training program development maintenance.

**Primary Responsibilities Include:**

• Evaluate technical competency for employees, identify areas needing improvement, and develop individual development plans.
• Design and develop training materials, identify technical competency gaps, and develop competency maps.
• Manage and deliver training for Apprenticeship programs, Entry-level training programs, and other technical programs.
• Develop effective working relationships with Facility Manager, Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager, Shift Supervisor, and other stakeholders.
• Attend status update calls, collaborate with safety team, and ensure completion of Safety, OpEx, and LEAN training.
• Determine program effectiveness, make improvements as necessary, and perform other assigned duties.

**Experience/Certification**

• Minimum of 5 years of technical training development and competency management.
• Technical Training delivery experience in Waste to Energy, Power Generation, or Chemical Industries.
• ASME QRO Certification preferred.

**Other Requirements**

• Ability and willingness to travel 50-70% of the time across the region.
• This position is facility-based and works 8 hours minimum per day, typically 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM.
