Therapist at Aster Springs

**Job Summary:** Therapists at Aster Springs are responsible for providing individual and group therapy sessions for clients in a specialized intensive outpatient treatment setting. They assess the therapeutic needs of individuals and families, develop appropriate treatment plans, and serve as client advocates. Therapists also act as liaisons with referral sources, clinical partners, and internal resources to coordinate care throughout the treatment process.

**Responsibilities:**

• Identify treatment contract goals and complete initial assessments
• Maintain contact with referring outpatient therapists and families
• Update treatment plans for clients
• Provide clinical updates to insurance company case managers
• Meet with clients regularly to explore issues and behaviors
• Lead group meetings and activities
• Attend team meetings and share observations
• Ensure proper charting and documentation
• Assist with discharge planning
• Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements:**

• Master's Degree
• License or working toward license (MFT, LPC, LCSW, PhD, LMHC, LMFT)
• 2 years of mental health experience (1 year eating disorders preferred)
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance

**Compensation Range:** $52,000 - $70,000
