Job Description
The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions is seeking a Technical Officer - Identification Botanist for a 24-month fixed-term, full-time position in Kensington, WA, Australia. The role involves providing plant specimen identifications, curatorial services, taxonomic advice, and conducting taxonomic research. Applicants should have considerable taxonomic experience and knowledge of Western Australia's flora, as well as knowledge of botanical identification techniques and herbarium practices. Eligible candidates must have Australian citizenship, New Zealand citizenship, Australian permanent residency status, or a visa to work in Australia. Applications must include a written response to selection criteria and a current resume.
