TransUnion is seeking a Sustainability Data & Reporting Lead in McLean, VA, to enhance global sustainability reporting efforts. As part of the Sustainability Office, this role will play a central role in continuing to build out TU's global sustainability reporting efforts. The role will provide leadership on Trans Union's sustainability reporting practices and help develop processes as needed. This role may also support other sustainability, as workflows allow. This position will engage directly with departments and external vendors.
What You'll Bring:5 plus years of expereince with sustainability data calculation methodologies including Greenhouse Gas Protocol, Life Cycle Assessment, and/or Water Foot printing Visa sponsorship isnt offered for this role Must be able to work independently and exercise full management authority
Comfortable working in a start-up environment and establishing new processes
Develops program initiatives and guides their development from inception to completion
Clear and professional communication for planning and preparation
Exceptional excel, record-keeping skills, and data management skills
Demonstrated organizational & project management skills
Bachelors in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Accounting, or Finance; MBA or graduate degree preferred
Preferred Knowledgeable and experienced in corporate reporting (e.g., 10-K, DEF-14A, etc.)Experience developing controls for non-financial reporting (e.g., limited assurance)
Familiarity with Workiva, Nasdaq-Metrio, Watershed and/or other sustainability platforms a plus Impact You'll Make:
Develop a comprehensive reporting schedule for Trans Union, coordinating across departments including Accounting, Human Resources, Investor Relations, and Marketing Identify, collect, track, and verify Trans Union's sustainability metrics
Lead internal auditing efforts for sustainability information, following financial reporting principles.
Manage and monitor external consultant work, as required
Respond to sustainability and climate data requests from stakeholders
Develops technical solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
Ability to adapt, learn, and lead through uncertainty.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
