Solar Utility Project Engineer (EB-2098069429)

STSI is seeking a Solar Utility Project Engineer in Schaumburg, IL, requiring a BS in Engineering or Project Management and 3+ years of solar utility project experience. Key responsibilities include field experience with performance calculations, solar design/layout, and high voltage exposure. Candidates should have knowledge of electrical components, experience with solar development software, and interconnection experience with renewable energy projects.
Electrical Development Engineer
• BS Engineering or Project Management required
• 3+ years of Solar Utility project experience required

Key Responsibilites:
• Has as field experience with performance (calculations, EPC contracts and PVSYST), solar design/layout and high voltage exposure
• Has a base knowledge of the electrical components of Solar (Solar Design, Layouts, inverters, AC / DC cabling, Substation)
• Has some experience with Solar Development software - understands PVSyst modeling and Solar GIS data sets
• High Voltage experience in regards to Main Power Transformers and Breakers
• Interconnection experience with renewable energy projects - Solar Utility Scale required
• Has been exposed to BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems)
