Job Description
Synergy Power is hiring a Solar Energy Consultant in Louisville, KY, to educate homeowners about solar solutions and guide them through the sales process. The role involves presenting custom solar systems, managing leads, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Candidates should have outside sales experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for renewable energy. This is a contract position with a flexible schedule and uncapped commission potential.
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our dynamic Louisville Metro team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating homeowners about solar energy solutions and guiding them through the sales process. As a Solar Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in solar sales and energy solutions to help clients make informed decisions that benefit both their homes and the environment. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a passion for renewable energy, and the ability to work independently in an outside sales environment.
Responsibilities
• Present custom solar systems to pre-set appointments with company provided, highly qualified homeowners
• Utilize software tools to manage leads, track sales progress, and maintain customer relationships.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and advancements in solar technology.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless installation and service delivery for clients.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in solar or energy-related fields.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing sales successfully.
• Familiarity with software tools used for customer relationship management (CRM) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Detail oriented, punctual, dedicated, and driven
• A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to helping yourself and the company grow
• Willingness to run many appointments and a passion for being a member of a winning team that supports one another

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $150,000.00 - $500,000.00 per year
