Description
GPI seeks an enthusiastic leader to assist our growing office. We are looking for a full-time Senior Water Resources Project Manager with a background in stormwater management, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, stream, and wetland design, construction document production, and construction phase environmental compliance. As a successful candidate, you will mentor water resources staff in all aspects of water resource design and project development. You will have opportunities to strategize business development efforts with local government, State, and Federal agency clients across the Mid-Atlantic region. Responsibilities:
• Manage client relations and development.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to H&H staff.
• Conduct quality control and quality assurance reviews of water resources-related work.
• Develop project scopes of work and price proposals.
• Assist staff in meeting project goals, schedules, and budgets.
• Potential for future supervisory and leadership responsibilities.
Qualifications:
• Professional Engineer with at least 15 years of experience.
• Five (5) years of experience demonstrating increasing responsibilities and a track record of success.
• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Project Management Experience with DelDOT is preferred.
• Design Experience including hydrology and hydraulics analysis, drainage design, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, bridge and culvert scour analysis and countermeasure design, stream restoration, floodplain permitting, and watershed planning.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Experience developing task proposals and fee estimates.
