Job Description

The NSW Department of Planning and Environment is seeking a Senior Scientist - Climate Impacts. The role involves leading and supporting climate impact assessments for biodiversity, analyzing data, developing and applying analytical modeling, and contributing to the strategic direction of climate science priorities. The ideal candidate is skilled in problem-solving, spatial modeling, and data analysis, with knowledge and experience in ecosystem-level and bioclimatic modeling. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders are also essential. The position is a temporary full-time role until June 2025, with a salary ranging from $116,059 to $129,288 plus benefits.
