Re.Group is seeking a Recycling Hand for their Material Recovery Facilities in Strathfield South, NSW. The role involves sorting recyclable materials, removing waste to protect equipment, and reporting issues. Re.Group aims to create a wasteless society by collaborating with various organizations to positively impact communities. This is a full-time position with no specific degree required.

About The Role

Our Material Recovery Facilities ( MRF) are recycling plants. All the recycling bins come to us and our job is to sort them so that we can turn our rubbish into paper, glass, re-usable plastic and metal.

Key Responsibilities
• Sort recyclable materials from a conveyor belt
• Remove waste so it does not damage plant equipment or the product
• Check materials and sort into designated areas by type, size, condition, or colour
• Report system problems immediately to management
