Job Description
The Department of Environment and Science in Brisbane, Australia is seeking a Project Officer to support the Visitor Communications team. The role involves implementing communication strategies to promote nature, protected areas, forests, and wildlife, and to connect people with nature. The Project Officer will develop interpretative media for Capital Works programs and ensure visitor experiences are safe, informative, enjoyable, and sustainable. Responsibilities include participating in a team to develop tourism and visitor management strategies, providing advice to staff and stakeholders, developing policies and procedures, and providing administrative support. Applications will be considered for 12 months. This is a full-time position.
