Principal Policy Officer - Flexible

The Department of Environment and Science in Brisbane, Australia is hiring a Principal Policy Officer to contribute to the development, implementation, and review of policy and legislation related to protected areas. The officer will lead and coordinate initiatives that support government priorities and provide expert policy advice on protected area establishment and management. The ideal candidate should have experience in strategic government policy development, legislation interpretation, and application. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are also required. This is a full-time position. Applications will be considered for 12 months.
