Principal Engineer

TransGrid is seeking a Principal Engineer to join their Network Connections Generator Commissioning team. The role involves providing specialist advice on generator testing and commissioning, high voltage transmission system developments, and network connections. The Principal Engineer will represent the Network Planning group within the industry and complete technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in leading generator commissioning projects, excellent knowledge of electrical networks engineering, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Other responsibilities include leading investigations, reviewing commissioning processes, and providing management with timely briefings.
