Plant Technician

Makati Diamond Residences is seeking a Plant Technician to maintain and operate plant equipment efficiently. Responsibilities include monitoring various systems such as Chiller, Fire Detection, and Elevator Systems, ensuring their functionality. Candidates must be Registered Electrical Engineers with at least one year of relevant experience, able to work under pressure and respond to emergencies. This is a full-time position located in Metro Manila, Philippines.

Job Summary:

Maintains and operates all plant equipment at design and/or peak efficiency based on accurate standard parametric settings. Completely and accurately accomplishes entries in all equipment log sheets. Coordinates all matters regarding facilities, in-house and outsourced operations, and projects, and gives accurate status and concerns.

Responsibilities:

• Performs minor maintenance, as well as Monitors and logs the Chiller System, Hot Water System, and the Cold-Water System.

• Monitors the Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS) and ensures complete functionality.

• Maintains generators complete functionality by conducting regular testing. Monitors and Logs substation components.

• Ensures complete functionality of all Elevator Lifts.

• Ensures operation and complete functionality of the Seismograph and Accelerograph.

• Monitors the Sanitary System (Pumps and Pits) and ensures complete functionality.

Qualifications:

• Registered Electrical Engineer

• 1yr. Experience with a basic understanding of building equipment

• Able to act accordingly during emergencies

• Able to work under pressure

• Pleasant and hard working

• Keen and observative
