Job Description

Loam Bio, based in Orange, NSW, is seeking a Microbiology Officer to join their team. The officer will be responsible for characterizing microbial strains, developing microbial technologies, assisting with trials and experiments, producing microbial inocula, and conducting laboratory work for Loam's R&D program. Key responsibilities include characterizing microorganisms, assisting in product development, executing assays, isolating biological material, resolving technical challenges, and managing laboratory technicians. The ideal candidate should have a relevant scientific qualification, two-plus years of laboratory experience, proficiency in aseptic techniques, and excellent communication skills.
