Maryland Organizer

Chesapeake Climate Action Network in Takoma Park, MD, is seeking a Maryland Organizer to lead community efforts in tackling the climate crisis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for empowering others, developing field strategies, and coordinating grassroots campaigns in Maryland. Responsibilities include outreach, volunteer development, coalition building, organizing actions and campaigns, and supporting clean energy projects. Qualifications include experience in organizing, familiarity with Maryland, and a commitment to environmental justice. Women and people of color are encouraged to apply even if they don't meet all requirements.
