About the position

The Laborer I or II position at RES involves providing essential support to Machine Operators during stream and wetland construction projects across Tennessee and Georgia. The role focuses on manual labor tasks, ensuring that construction activities run smoothly and efficiently while allowing for the oversight of project quality and compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities
• Seeding, mulching, and installing erosion control matting.

• Working with construction crews on manual labor activities to support overall project.

• Performing routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.

• Cleaning equipment and reporting any service-related concerns promptly to the supervisor.

• Maintaining a positive working relationship with customers and co-workers.

Requirements
• Previous experience in outdoor construction.

• Experience and understanding of engineered blueprint drawings & specifications.

• Willingness and ability to travel overnight and work at assigned project locations weekly.

• Experience as a Laborer on Stream Restoration and/or Wetland construction projects preferred.
