Job Description

Timberland Forestry is seeking 68 temporary, full-time Forestry Conservation Workers in Columbia Falls, ME, from October 13 to December 14, 2024. Duties include cutting and tipping balsam fir using hand pruners, with physical demands in tough terrain. Workers must carry poles weighing at least 42 pounds approx. a mile to a container. Pay is $2.80 per pole, with guaranteed minimum wages of $17.31/hour and overtime at $25.97/hour. Housing and transportation reimbursement are provided.
