Cummins Envirotech is seeking a Field Environmental Scientist/Geologist/Technician in Old Lyme, CT. The role involves assisting with Geoprobe® investigations, performing soil borings, installing monitoring wells, and conducting Environmental Site Assessments. About the position

Cummins Envirotech, Inc. is a growing Environmental Consulting and Field Environmental/Geoprobe® Services firm located in Old Lyme, CT. We are currently seeking qualified and hard-working Field Environmental Personnel to join our team. The Field Environmental Scientist/Geologist/Technician will primarily assist with Geoprobe® investigations and operations, which include performing soil borings and installing monitoring wells. Additionally, the role will involve some work in Environmental Site Assessments, low-flow groundwater sampling, and site surveys. This position presents a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the Environmental Field. We are looking for motivated candidates who have a keen interest in Environmental Sciences or Geology, as there are opportunities for advancement and growth within our company.

Responsibilities
• Assist with Geoprobe® investigations and operations.

• Perform soil borings and install monitoring wells.

• Conduct Environmental Site Assessments and low-flow groundwater sampling.

• Participate in site surveys.

Requirements
• Some Environmental Science/Geology college coursework required.

• Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science/Geology preferred.

• Safety conscious and able to work outdoors year-round.
,
• Ability to lift 75-pound equipment/supplies required.
,
• Knowledge of pumps and hydraulic equipment is a plus.
,
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.

Nice-to-haves
• OSHA Hazwoper Certification preferred.

• CDL License preferred.
