Field Biologist/Habitat Conservation Technician

Woodlands Conservancy is hiring a Field Biologist/Habitat Conservation Technician to conduct forest restoration activities in Greater New Orleans. Responsibilities include herbicide application, planting, data recording, and vegetation surveys. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or field experience with a Louisiana Applicators License. The position pays $17/hour for 18 months. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be physically capable. Preference given to those with relevant experience. Full-time position with some weekend work required.
