Facilities Manager

  • Oversee and lead a team of assistant managers, engineers, technical officers, supervisors, and technicians in facilities management for commercial buildings, ministry buildings, and hospitals.

  • Establish good working relationships with clients, develop trust and confidence, and maintain quality service standards.

  • Manage the overall Air Conditioning Maintenance Ventilation system to ensure daily AC thermal comfort is within acceptable limits.

  • Schedule maintenance activities for ACMV systems, track maintenance works, and ensure follow-up actions for systems such as chillers, AHU, FCU, fire protection, and gas systems.

  • Conduct daily audit inspections to ensure outsource service providers are performing according to contractual obligations and SLAs.

  • Liaise with external agencies on new initiatives and major repairs and maintenance works.

  • Prepare tender documents, specifications, plan, coordinate, and execute rectification works.

  • Responsible for project costing, cost management, and training requirements for staff.

  • Prepare and certify contractors' payments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.

  • At least 10 years of related working experience with proven experience in facility management in a large facility.

  • Ability to work independently, good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Proactive, independent, able to work with minimal supervision, and perform under pressure.

  • Service-oriented mindset, strong building and M&E knowledge with hands-on experiences.

  • High level of initiative and integrity, strong leadership qualities, good planning and organizing ability, and a good safety mindset with display of good WSH behaviors.
