Environmental Justice Ambassador

Clean Water Action is seeking an Environmental Justice Ambassador for community outreach in multicultural urban areas of Passaic, NJ. Responsibilities include canvassing in various weather conditions, engaging with residents, and using Google Workspace. Familiarity with local areas and multilingual skills are preferred. Candidates should have access to a vehicle and be comfortable meeting new people. This is a full-time position with no degree required.
This position is canvassing and community outreach to residents and organizations in multicultural urban centers. You will be outside in a variety of weather conditions. Must be comfortable meeting new people and using Google Workspace's mobile suite. Familiarity with Paterson, Clifton, Passaic, and Prospect Park NJ, ArcGis Field Maps, and multilingual capabilities are a strong plus. Please note if you have a personal vehicle available during work hours. Former canvassers strongly encouraged to inquire. Preference for candidates with access to a vehicle, Bilingual - English/Spanish, and/or local to the Clifton, Passaic, or Paterson area.
