Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Experience providing multi-media environmental compliance services, such as compliance assessments and audits (required).
Developing compliance documents and permit applications associated with the Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
Supporting projects involving due diligence with substantial historical research including ASTM-compliant Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
Contributing to the preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.
Supporting site characterization and remediation projects.
Preparing technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.
Developing task, project, and client management skills.
Education and Licensure
Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering, environmental science, or related discipline. (required)
Advanced degree (M.S.) in environmental or civil engineering or environmental science. (preferred)
Engineer in Training (EIT) or similar type of professional certification in your field or working towards certification. (preferred)
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
At least 2 years (5+ preferred) of experience working in a consulting or manufacturing or industrial environment, with a working knowledge of industrial processes, and their impacts to the environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
Excellent writing and communication skills. (required)
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to environmental compliance, assessments. (preferred)
Prior experience in environmental consulting. (preferred)
Experience with Microsoft Office products. (required)
Experience with GIS and databases. (preferred)
Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)
