Role: Eco-Cultural Tour organizer/concierge

Host: Genesis Eco-Oasis / Eco Hotel

Location: Ek Balam,

Yucatan, Mexico

Type: volunteer + accommodations (see below)

Spend this winter in a safe, warm, exotic environment while learning about local Mayan culture, arts, crafts and daily life as well as eco-lodge operations.

You’ll coordinate free, community-based tours and activities and provide information linking our guests with local artisans.

We... are Canadian owned lodge in operation for more than 20 years.

You... are a service-oriented mature individual, interested in experiential tourism, socially adept, flexible, energetic and confident in new environments.
• English required (95% of our guests speak English)
• Customer service, food and beverage or hospitality experience ideal.

Accommodations plus food stipend.
