Director of Philanthropy

The Director of Philanthropy at American Rivers is responsible for securing major gifts from individual donors as part of the Life Depends on Rivers campaign. They will work closely with various stakeholders, including the President, board members, and volunteers, to cultivate relationships and solicit donations. The role involves identifying and engaging potential donors, developing personalized solicitation strategies, and supporting regional fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in major gift fundraising and be able to travel for donor visits and events.
