Climate Change Specialist

PwC India is hiring a Climate Change Specialist in Bengaluru to help clients with climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, a commitment to sustainability, and familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks. This is a full-time position.
PwC India is seeking a Climate Change Specialist to join our team of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) experts. As a Climate Change Specialist, you will work with clients to understand their climate change mitigation and adaptation needs and provide guidance on developing strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies for clients
• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for reducing greenhouse gas emissions
• Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals related to climate change initiatives
• Engage with clients to understand their climate change needs and provide guidance on sustainable practices

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Previous experience or coursework in sustainability, ESG, or related areas is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI, DJSI, CDP, TCFD, SASB, SDGs are also required.
