Biofoundry Scientist

Nourish Ingredients, a company focused on creating animal-free fats and oils to enhance the taste of plant-based and alternative protein products, is seeking a Biofoundry Scientist in Sydney, Australia. The role involves developing new methods of yeast strain generation using robotics and high-throughput techniques. Responsibilities include building constructs, transforming yeast and fungal species, screening transformants and mutants, and designing new expression vectors. A PhD in Synthetic Biology or similar field is required, along with experience in molecular biology and strong communication and organizational skills.
