United Natural Foods-UNFI is seeking a motivated Account Manager for its produce division in Providence, RI. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing our existing produce accounts while also identifying and establishing new business opportunities. Manage and grow existing produce accounts by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Identify and establish new business opportunities within the produce industry.
Develop and implement strategies to promote healthy and sustainable food options to clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of sales and marketing initiatives.
Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competition.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving client concerns and inquiries.
Create and deliver presentations on company products and services to potential clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to clients.
Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for growth and improvement.
Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Attend industry events and conferences to network and represent the company.
Build and maintain a strong understanding of the company's mission and values to effectively promote the brand.
Travel to client locations as needed to maintain relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Collaborate with the produce division team to set and achieve sales targets and goals.
Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.
