Job Description

ZeroAvia is looking for a talented Thermal Engineer to join our growing team in the field of aviation technology. As a Thermal Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, testing, and optimizing thermal management systems for our innovative zero-emission aircraft.


  • Design and develop efficient thermal control systems for various aircraft components
  • Conduct thermal analysis and simulations to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal solutions into aircraft designs
  • Test and validate thermal management systems in lab and real-world environments
  • Identify and resolve thermal issues to meet performance and safety requirements
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in thermal management technologies


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Experience in thermal analysis, design, and testing of aerospace or automotive systems
  • Proficiency in thermal simulation tools such as ANSYS, SolidWorks, or similar software
  • Knowledge of heat transfer principles, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
