Materials QA & Testing Associate

What you’ll do:

  • Implement and manage Materials MRSL/RSL testing for Apparel categories, to mitigate risk and support environmental sustainability initiatives within chemical management
  • Manage Materials-level QA protocol and testing programs for development and bulk production, to ensure consistent quality
  • Suggest bulk care instructions based on materials testing and sustainable, low-impact care protocol
  • Set materials quality standards for bulk production, in partnership with Materials R&D and nominated global suppliers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bulk materials quality issues with Materials R&D and Purchasing teams, as well as global materials suppliers and garment manufacturers
  • Review and approve bulk production material lots for color, aesthetic, and quality
  • Manage materials wear-testing program

What You’ll Need:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Lab Testing for fabric and apparel, or related field
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, ability to present feedback in a concise manner
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with internal stakeholders as well as external partners
  • Ability to problem solve in ambiguous situations
