Home Health Aide (HHA)

Ghg Homecare is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) in Scranton, PA, to assist patients with daily living and personal care according to care plans. Responsibilities include providing health services, performing household tasks, accompanying patients to appointments, maintaining care records, and offering companionship. Candidates should have experience as a home health aide, knowledge of nutrition and hygiene, and a caring personality. GHG Home Care is currently looking for compassionate Home Health Aides to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients homes in accordance with an established care plan.

Responsibilities:
• Provide health care services in patients residences
• Perform domestic and household tasks
• Accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital
• Assist with clients personal care activities
• Maintain patients care records and document provided services
• Assist patients with mobility and physical exercises
• Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders

Skills:
• Proven working experience as home health aide
• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Nursing and health care administration skills
• Caring and compassionate personality
